United Arab Emirates: apostille and legalization from Canada

Most of what we send to the Emirates is hiring paperwork. An employer in Dubai or Abu Dhabi asks for a degree and a police clearance certificate before the residence visa is processed, and the deadline is usually someone else’s. Because the UAE is not a party to the Apostille Convention, a Canadian apostille on its own does not finish the file: the document still has to be legalized at the UAE mission before it will be accepted.
